Accreditation

InterAmerican University is based in the United States and was established by corporate charter in 1978. Our founding principles are based on the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights; by article 26, InterAmerican University considers that Higher Education is a Human Right. The institution has implemented a paradigm shift educational model for its academic programs that has allowed it to approach this objective through the self-empowerment of its students, the decentralization of the learning process, the design of a personalized open curriculum, a learning model development of the main core elements of the Human Condition, and the utilization of near-infinite knowledge through the use of information technology combined with our developing core elements of the Human Condition, as well as our own capacity to find solutions to all kinds of global, dynamic, individual and multidisciplinary team problems.

Due to these differentiations in absolutely new programs and from the mission of the university itself,

INTERAMERICAN UNIVERSITY DECLARES THAT IT IS NOT ACCREDITED BY ANY ACCREDITATION AGENCY RECOGNIZED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Note: In the United States and abroad, many licensing authorities require accredited degrees as the basis for license eligibility. In some cases, accredited colleges may not accept transfer of courses and degrees earned at other non-accredited colleges, and certainly some employers may require an accredited degree as a basis for employment eligibility. Potential students should consider and evaluate how the above may affect their interests, 1A1 University respects the unique rules and regulations of each country and does not seek to influence the respective authorities. In the event that a future student wishes to carry out any governmental review or process regarding his university degree, we recommend that the requirements thereof be explored in detail with the relevant authorities by the future student since the university does not intervene. in such processes.

1A1 University students come from many countries, are active and volunteer in their communities as part of their academic program, and have committed thousands of hours of service to various causes and initiatives. 1A1 University programs follow the standards commonly used by colleges and universities in the United States with respect to the structure of the academic program, degree issued, transcript, and other graduation documents. 1A1 University graduation documents may include an apostille and authentication from the US Department of State to facilitate international use.

We encourage all InterAmerican University students to participate in the University Pledge, which is none other than a commitment to give back to their communities, their country, and the world. One way they can do this is by integrating the 17 UNESCO goals for 2030 into their academic program and professional dreams as much as possible, since their viability and achievement depend on the contribution and participation of people. The 17 objectives are interdisciplinary and cover disciplines from almost all majors and areas of study.

However, InterAmerican University is accredited by the International Association of Universities and Schools (I.A.U.S.). and by the International Council on Education. Both of them are private accrediting associations, not affiliated with any government agency, which is designed to meet the needs of non-traditional education worldwide.
